DayOne files for Nasdaq IPO as revenue growth raises funding needs
The Singapore based data center operator has filed for a Nasdaq listing as DODC. Its October prospectus leaves the offering size and price range open.
DayOne Data Centers has brought its proposed US listing into public view. The SEC filing index records its registration statement on October 5, 2026. In its announcement the following day, the Singapore headquartered infrastructure company said it had applied to list American depositary shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under DODC.
The announcement did not specify an offer size or price range. Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, BofA Securities and Citigroup were named as underwriters. The filing therefore establishes a proposed transaction, while the eventual share count, proceeds and valuation remain to be determined.
The preliminary prospectus shows first half revenue of $512.0 million, compared with $151.5 million a year earlier. Net loss widened to $77.2 million from $12.6 million. Capacity delivered in Johor, Batam and Thailand helped drive the revenue increase. DayOne intends to direct offering proceeds toward new data center development and construction, alongside working capital and general corporate purposes.
The IPO process follows an unusually large private funding round. DayOne announced the final closing of its Series C on June 5, with $4.5 billion in gross proceeds. Coatue and Hillhouse led that round. At the time, DayOne described expansion plans across Asia Pacific and Europe, including Finland and Spain.
That earlier financing is distinct from any eventual IPO proceeds. The next useful disclosure will be an amended prospectus with actual offering terms. Until then, a reported fundraising ambition should not be read as a completed capital raise or a confirmed stock market valuation.
