IPO recap
Offering not completed
Jio Platforms filed IPO documents on Jun 19, 2026. IPO date, ticker, and IPO offer price are not yet confirmed.
The short version
Jio Platforms has a public Indian IPO draft and a regulatory observation letter. An October launch remains a reported plan, with final pricing unverified.
A public draft and August observation letter are confirmed.
The draft offers fresh shares rather than an existing-shareholder sale.
October opening and trading dates remain reported plans.
Company in detail
Jio Platforms combines mobile and fixed broadband connectivity with digital and enterprise services. Reliance Industries is its promoter, and Reliance Jio Infocomm, or RJIL, operates the core telecom business. The investment case rests on a large subscriber base, expanding 5G usage and household broadband adoption, alongside the capital required to maintain the network.
The public draft prospectus appeared on 19 June 2026. It proposes up to 270 million new shares and a listing on BSE and NSE, with no sale of existing shareholders' shares in that draft. Proceeds are intended for repayment of RJIL borrowings and general corporate purposes. The ₹10 figure in the document is nominal face value; it does not establish an IPO offer price.
Reliance disclosed receipt of a regulatory observation letter on 28 August. That is a confirmed step in the offering process. Reporting on 5 October described a possible opening on 21 October and market debut on 28 October. A final issuer-confirmed bidding schedule and price were not verified in the material checked on 7 October.
The operating picture has also advanced beyond the March year-end snapshot. For the quarter ended 30 June 2026, Jio Platforms reported revenue of ₹391.73 billion and EBITDA of ₹208.65 billion. Connectivity subscribers reached 533 million and fixed-broadband subscribers 28.6 million. These are quarterly financial figures and dated subscriber counts. Investors still need the final offer terms to judge valuation, debt reduction and the ownership stake available to public shareholders.

Jio Platforms IPO: where and how to invest
Where can I invest in the Jio Platforms IPO?
The Jio Platforms IPO is currently marked as filed; public share trading is not yet confirmed in this profile. If IPO subscriptions become available, you need a broker offering that specific deal to investors in your country. Having an account does not guarantee an allocation. After a confirmed listing, you can look for a broker that supports the relevant exchange.
Can I buy Jio Platforms shares now?
Public trading in Jio Platforms shares is not yet confirmed here. An announced or priced offering does not automatically mean you can buy the stock on an exchange. An IPO subscription and a private share purchase each have separate access requirements.
When is the Jio Platforms IPO?
A confirmed first trading day for Jio Platforms has not yet been published here. Check official company announcements and final offering documents; a planned timetable can change.
What is the Jio Platforms IPO share price?
A confirmed IPO offer price for Jio Platforms has not yet been published here. Private funding valuations and modeled private-market prices do not establish the eventual IPO share price.
What is Jio Platforms's stock ticker and exchange?
A stock ticker for Jio Platforms has not yet been confirmed here. The exchange recorded here is BSE / NSE (proposed). A proposed symbol or exchange does not establish that trading has begun. Verify the final listing announcement before placing an order.
Can I buy Jio Platforms shares before the IPO?
Private transactions or funds may sometimes provide exposure to Jio Platforms if a specific offer exists and you meet its requirements. This profile does not confirm an available private offer. A fund interest may provide indirect exposure rather than direct ownership of company shares. Private investments can have resale restrictions, uncertain valuations and limited exit options; a future IPO is not guaranteed.
Where can I find the Jio Platforms IPO prospectus?
Check Jio Platforms's official investor-relations announcements and publications from the relevant regulator and exchange. A confidential submission or an announcement about it is not a publicly available prospectus. Before subscribing, read the final prospectus for the risks, price, share class and offering terms.
